Our Opportunity:

Corenic is seeking a Marketing Manager to expand our marketing department, to support both internal and external marketing efforts of the organization. Our ideal candidate will be able to understand, articulate and provide insight to our marketing, business development, social media, and proposal processes.

This position is an integral part of the Marketing Department. As the Marketing Manager you will work closely with the President and marketing/administration team to increase both internal and external marketing initiatives.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION 
In support of the marketing functions of the organization, the Marketing Manager is responsible for carrying out the following essential duties and responsibilities, either directly or through the assistance or coordination with other members of the marketing and administrative team.  This role assists the President with the following essential duties and responsibilities:

INTERNAL MARKETING:

  • Assists with Corenic’s internal marketing and communications initiatives
  • Supports fundraising activities and maintains President's donor contact information; assist President in reviewing fundraising and sponsorship opportunities making sure they are beneficial for Corenic. 
  • Designs and creates marketing materials including brochures, announcements, invitations, and forms. 
  • Supports the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing 
  • Independently coordinates marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral 
  • Coordinates product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management 
  • Assists with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs, internal and external newsletter (Constant Contact) and public relations efforts 
  • Evaluates and monitors campaign performance
  • Researches audience preferences and discover current trends 
  • Creates engaging text, image, and video content 
  • Edits and formats company resumes

EXTERNAL MARKETING

  • Assists in management and follow up of marketing and communications in the organization to ensure follow-through on meetings, opportunities, and ideas for collaboration, etc., and ensures these efforts are effectively and efficiently carried out, and contacts are kept up to date.  
  • Leads Corenic’s external marketing and communications initiatives while also supporting the President's business development efforts  
  • Provide external support at industry events with the ability to speak to Corenic’s capabilities and business verticals
  • Manages relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness 
  • Facilitates online conversations with customers and respond to queries 

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING:

  • Leads and directs marketing activities by maintaining current website information, social media posts, community and volunteer activities, corporate branding, image-wear, and promotional items with the Administrative and Marketing team.
  • Creates, proofreads, and edits copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports 
  • Designs posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new services 
  • Measures web traffic and monitor SEO 
  • Stays up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness 
  • Reports on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans 
  • Develops an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics 
  • Builds a public brand for  Corenic Construction
  • Oversees social media accounts’ layout 

RFP/PROPOSAL/ESTIMATING EFFORTS:

  • Assists with coordinating content for responding to RFPs, IFB's and RFQ's in coordination with the Estimating Department
  • Organizes/coordinates pre, during and post job pictures 
  • Reviews proposals prior to submission to ensure they are in line with Corenic standard guidelines, are error free and contain all of the required components as outlined in the RFP/RFI
  • Plans and coordinates with the Estimating team to layout process for bid submission and obtain the necessary information for bids

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and 3-5 years’ experience in similar position; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong editing skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capability to engage with both internal and external customers, partners, vendors and industry professionals to communicate Corenic capabilities and business verticals, projects and successes
  • Well-organized, skilled in setting priorities and meeting deadlines, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Works well independently and in teams; pro-active in anticipating work requirements and problem solving
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office ,as well as employee engagement tools, such as SurveyMonkey, etc.
  • Prior experience with marketing, social media and website platforms
  • Knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing various social media platforms
  • Experience planning and leading corporate initiatives
  • Experience and/or familiarity with international development desired
